Stoate tables question on community based prostate health clinics Dr. Stoate: To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans he has to test the model of community based prostate health clinics outlined in the Cancer Reform Strategy.Ann Keen: The model was recommended by experts during the development of the Cancer Reform Strategy as a potential mechanism for delivering high quality, male friendly advice and support on prostate health issues. The Department intends to test this approach as part of wider work on the National Awareness and Early Diagnosis Initiative and the National Cancer Equality Initiative. |
