Dartford MP, Dr Howard Stoate has launched a campaign aimed at drumming up public support for bringing Oyster Card services to Dartford station.  Currently, commuters can only use their Oyster Card inside the London fare zones, meaning that users of Dartford station have to enjoy regular queues and delays in purchasing tickets from the station.

Dr Howard Stoate has chaired a conference bringing together representatives from the three main political parties, the Moroccan government and the DESERTEC initiative in an effort to promote the viability of solar power as a solution to the world's clean energy needs.

Dartford MP, Dr Howard Stoate has urged Dartford residents to protect themselves against the deadly threat of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. New research shows that 76% of households in the South East are putting themselves at risk of poisoning by not having an audible Carbon Monoxide alarm.  Carbon Monoxide is a highly poisonous gas that has no colour taste and smell, making it impossible to detect without an alarm.

Dr Howard Stoate has contributed towards the work of the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, in sharing his knowledge on the potential impact of conterfeit medicines and recording a 'podcast' on the subject which Members of the House and members of the public alike can listen to.
