Dr Stoate has signed a Parliamentary Motion condemning the potential payout that the former Chief Executive of Northern Rock will receive following the recent scandal. Dr Stoate commented that, "I am astounded that a man who oversaw such a disasterous lending policy could possibly receive such a substanial sum of money. I feel that Mr Applegarth should qualify for nothing more than that received by other stuff who lost their jobs as a result of his tenure." |
