EDM 753 - Smoking rates
GP and local MP Dr Howard Stoate has joined Parliamentary colleagues in signed EDM 753 that welcomes the continuing fall in the number of people smoking in the UK.  Dr Stoate said, "as a GP I see first hand the damage caused by smoking.  I am delighted that the number of people who smoke continues to fall, and I firmly believe that the impact of the ban on smoking in public places will see this trend accelerate in the future."
