Stoate opposes Leyton Cross planning application

Local MP Dr Howard Stoate has contacted the local council to express concerns about the recent planning application to build flats on land at 13-14 Leyton Cross Road.

Dr Stoate said, "A number of local residents conctacted me regarding this application, expressing concerns that it would be out of character with the local area and have a negative impact on local residents."

"I agree that building flats in this area would be out of keeping with existing character of the area.  Additionally, I also feel that the plans would place undue pressure on parking facilities in the area, particularly given the current paucity of available spaces in this location."
