Dartford MP welcomes assistance provided by Warm Front

Dr Stoate has welcomed news announced by Eaga Partnerships, that Warm Front grants to residents in Dartford have now totalled over £1.7million since the scheme began.

Eaga has confirmed that by 29th December 2007, it had provided grants totalling £1,730,321.63 to dartford residents.  This has seen 1,695 properties in the constituency receive at least one main measure including 635 adaptations or new installs of heating systems and over 1,000 installations of insulation.  Of these households, the vast majority have belonged to those over 60.

Commenting on these figures Dr Stoate said, "I am pleased with continued efforts of Eaga to provide improvements to home heating systems and reductions in energy loss to the most vulnerable people in my constituency.  Warm Front grants enable residents to have new and more efficient heating appliances installed which will help reduce their expenditure on heating bills."
