MP talks about Joyce Green hospital as part of 'Ebb & Flow' project

Dr Stoate has shared his experiences of working at Joyce Green hospital as part of the initiative which seeks to get people who live and work within the Thames Gateway involved in their local history.

The project, run by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has already seen people including Billy Bragg, and Wayne Hemmingway share their memories and experiences of the Thames Gateway.  Talking about the initiative, Dr Stoate said, "I am delighted to take part in this project.  As someone who has lived and worked in this area for 30 years I have experienced and taken part in much of the recent history of Dartford."

"I hope that by sharing my experiences I am able to draw further attention to this hugely worthwhile cause and encourage people to share their experiences and ensure that awareness of the area's hisorty increases."
