Transport Minister confirms 20p tolls for Dartford residents |

Dartford MP, Dr Howard Stoate, has given an enthusiastic welcome to today’s announcement by Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly that Dartford borough residents will be given a discount of nearly 90% when the new Dartford River Crossing Tolls come into force later this year. Under the new toll scheme non Dartford car drivers using the Dartford River Crossing will pay a toll of £1.50 whilst Dartford Borough residents who have applied for a special Discount Dart tag will pay just 20p per journey. |
