Funded by the Department for Education and Skills but editorially independent, Teachers' TV is aimed at everyone who works in schools from heads to newly qualified teachers, governors and support staff and will provide programmes that cover training and development, education news and current affairs, classroom observation and analysis and resource reviews.

Speaking at the launch of Teachers TV Dr Stoate said; “Teachers’ TV is an exciting development that will provide teachers and other education professionals with a range of teaching resources and information in a highly accessible format. I’m sure that it will prove to be a major success.”

Nigel Jones added; “Teachers’ TV will be a valuable extra resource for schools and I’m quite sure that we will be making full use of it at Swan Valley. It will provide teachers and other staff will an opportunity to access new teaching materials and ideas and learn from the best practice of others.”
